Grand Strand Harmony Chorus located in Surfside Beach, SC, is a chapter of Sweet Adelines International.
Sweet Adelines International is a world-wide non-profit organization for women, dedicated to the art of singing
 four-part harmony, barbershop style, through competition and performance. 
Women of all ages are invited to join us at our regular rehearsal, on Tuesday nights,
Surfside United Methodist Church  7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

The chorus is comprised of women ranging in ages from 30 - 79
              from all walks of life! The members all have one thing  in common            
their love of music.
Membership is open to women of all ages.
However an adult chapter member must assume total responsibility
for the welfare and sponsorship of a member under the age of 18.
                       Grand Strand Harmony is part of Region 14 the Blueridge Region.      
                          
We make friendships that last a lifetime! 
When all voices in the chorus sing in key and with the same pronunciation of words, a chord will "lock" and overtones of the chord will "ring."

MEET OUR DIRECTOR
 Barbara Mousaw - Grand Strand Harmony Chorus Director
Barbara was gracious enough to accept the Director position enabling the chorus to start the 2009 - 2010 year in great shape. A director, 15 members and 12 dual members.                                                 Let us introduce Barbara to the outside world. Not only is Barbara  a very talented singer and musician, but she has completed the Sweet Adelines Certified Director training program.   This training has enabled Barbara to make learning more "Fun in just one Life Time" so to speak. Growing up near Syracuse, NY, Barbara loved to sing and joined Sweet Adelines 30 years ago.  She is also a member of the Master Chorale and is a cantor at St. Andrews in Myrtle Beach.
